Tehran, May 19, IRNA - The International Quds Day that was initiated by Imam Khomeini in Ramadan 1399 AH (mid-summer 1979) has ushered in a movement against the Global Arrogance led by the US and the Zionist regime.

Commemorating "Quds Day" (i.e. Liberate Israeli-occupied Jerusalem), paraded in Tehran, Iran c. 19 May 2020, is a Palestinian flag with different slogans on both sides of flag. One side simply reads "Palestine", while the reverse side reads "Palestine" -- but it is spelled backwards in Arabic, and there is smaller wording that may refer to "Liberate/Free Palestine".

It was carried during an Al-Quds rally at Srinagar Kashmir, India on the last Friday of Ramadhan [24 Dec 2021], which is also observed as "Youm al-Quds" ("Al-Quds Day") across the globe to express support and solidarity with the Muslims of Palestine.

A variation of the national flag of Palestine with an Arabic-language "outline"-script (such as "Malvery" script) of a Muslim's "Declaration of Faith" or "shahada" is seen at https://www.alamy.com: "There is no god but Allah and Mohammad is the messenger of Allah." As seen in Tehran, Iran, during the annual "Quds International Day" (Jerusalem) rally when Iranians demonstrate their support of the city of Jerusalem to be free of Zionist/Israeli control and returned to Muslim/Palestinian control; c. 31 May 2019. The "Quds International Day" is held annually on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. (Rouzbeh Fouladi/ZUMA Wire)
